Stand up paddle boarding is one of the newest and fastest growing watersports in the world. St Andrews, Scotland is an ideal location to discover this fun and exhilarating experience. Originating in the Hawaiian Islands,stand up paddleboards (SUPS) are a favourite with celebrities in California such as Piers Brosnan Robert Downie Jnr and Jennifer Aniston and is recognised as one of the best sports for working core muscles, upper body and legs.

Using a one-bladed paddle and standing on a specially designed longer and wider surfboard, you will soon master the technique required under the instruction of one of our team to spend this new experience time having great fun in a wonderful part of the Scottish coastline.

Cruise the waters of beautiful St Andrews and take a trip from West Sands to East Sands. Explore the scenic coastline of old St Andrews from the water watching out for seals and checking out the crabs and lobsters in the rock pools. . You are provided with all equipment including wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet.

Learn to surf the waves of St Andrews which is classed as one of the best surf spots in Scotland. Your experience will get you moving, turning and having fun in and on the water. You are provided with all equipment including wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. Come out and learn what everyone is talking about!

West Sands Beach -St Andrews, fife in the main.

Lunan Bay-Arbroath, Angus, Belhaven Bay Dunbar, East Lothian.

Price

Our 

2 hour SUP experience including coffee and shortbread 
(half day allow up to 3 hours for your session)

£49.50 per person.

 

Restrictions

The max weight is 16.5 stone or 105 kg.

Children 16 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum 2 children per adult.

What to Wear / Equipment

We  provide safety gear including;

  • Helmet
  • Wetsuit
  • Buoyancy Aid

Dress appropriately for the weather – #remembersparepants + a towel.
